2008 · Ghouls

1. Ghouls (Single Version)
2. Point of Test
3. Star A.D. (Faith No More Cover)
4. Digital Skin
5. Stormchild (Live In Uzhgorod)

A five-song CD that has a couple of songs that Mechanical Poet is still proud of. It’s definitely the simplest project of everything that he has ever done. Just music and nothing else. Good music, though.

The Poet always wanted to start a project dedicated to Frank Herbert’s Dune saga. It should be raw, heavy, minimalistic, industrialized and unpredictable. There had to be machines and violent warriors, battles and philosophy, deep thoughts and pure emotions. Prudent use of resources is not an easy thing when you have all kinds of musical means and lots of instruments in your own room. But Dune is a desert planet full of dangerous people and giant worms, so you can’t simply add this here and that there to make it all look right. The Poet had to economize on resources and try to make bigger noises using less sounds. It was a worthy experience.

A sad story of love, death, misunderstanding, little people, big disappointments and everything else that life throws at us. A prom that ended a nightmare in a fictional town and turned into a double album in real life. Eight songs and ten symphonic pieces follow each other in chronological order. The Port still doesn’t know himself if it has happy ending or not. Hopefully it does.

Urban legends in all their glory. Come to the city of horror and beauty, where you meet ghosts and demons, spirits of street lights, angels in top hats, sad dolls and happy freaks. This project damanded a lot of time and energy. The Poet had to compose and arrange tons of music, record instruments and make two sets of illustrations. The project inauguration ceremony was huge and bombastic. Every single piece of it still sounds wonderful.

Once upon a day the poet disappeared. After a year in the woods he sent a letter accompanied by a dozen exciting stories about forest dwellers. There were anthems of evil harpies, lullabies of sirens from Subterranea, songs of little zombies, laments of boogiemen and epic chants of the four elements. There were witches and marsh imps, ogres and trolls, ghosts and shades. A whole new universe of tales, sounds and images.

2003 · Handmade Essence

1. Handmade Essence
2. Frozen Nile
3. Hermetical Orchard
4. Clue of a Scarecrow
5. Clockwork Shrimps
6. Waltzing Skip-Jack

A very first scream of the mighty Poet. Listen to the alchemical legends about artificial beings, hermetic orchards and living scarecrows. Decipher ancient Egyptian manuscripts telling the story of the Nile that was once frozen. Dance with clockwork shrimps and waltz around with a jack-in-the-box. Le cirque d’horreur, le cabaret bizarre.
